Gavin McInnes (Vincent Allen)
Gavin McInnes is no stranger to playing an asshole, having already cultivated his abrasive persona and dirty comedy into a solid career. He launched Vice Magazine in 1994 and it has since become a multi-million dollar hipster empire. Gavin contributed his outrageous “DOs and DON’Ts” feature to every issue of Vice and authored “The Vice Guide to Eating Pussy” before leaving the company in 2007 due to creative differences. He subsequently started up another company, StreetCarnage.com, a website featuring comedic fashion critiques and compilations of bad television.
Ray Chao (Dr. Wong)
Having studied improvisation at the Second City Training Center in Chicago, and currently serving a stint at the Upright Citizens Brigade, Ray Chao has the comedic prowess and experience to go blow-for-blow with Gavin McInnes. Ray’s gentle-yet-worldly demeanor and his extensive and far-flung career render him the perfect candidate to play Dr. Wong, as he patiently but unyieldingly probes the depths of Vincent Allen’s character, refusing to be bullied or cowed by Vincent’s behavior. Equal parts caring and sardonic, Ray’s humor arises from a nuanced understanding of human nature—of both its petty and callous side, and its kind and compassionate side. These traits make him the ultimate complement to, and foil of, Vincent Allen.
